Eligibility Criteria

The courses in Mass communication are offered at both undergraduate and post-graduate level. The courses are of 3 years and 2 years (one year in diploma).  The basic eligibility requirements are:

  • UG in Mass Communication: The aspirant must have qualified a Senior Secondary School Certificate examination i.e, class 12th from any recognised educational board.
  • PG in Mass Communication: The aspirant must have passed a Bachelor’s Degree in any course or stream with 45%-50% aggregate (depending on particular institutions) and the candidate must be below 30 years of age.
  • The admission process is based on merit list prepared after the entrance test conducted by specific Institutes individually. Interview or group discussion is the final stage for getting admission to Mass Communication Courses.
