In the local animal shelter, homeless animals are going to get more daily living supplies. Reliable sources informed that the credit entirely goes to the annual Presents 4 Pets collection campaign that is held in cordial support of National Animal Shelter Appreciation Week, from November 3 to 8.
It is informed that local collection campaigns, around the nation, are sponsored by professional pet sitters. Gwen Gangi of Fur to Feathers Pet Sitting Service, LLC as well as the member of the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters, which is popularly known as NAPPS, hosted the Northern Fairfield County campaign in coordination with the NAPPS with the aim to help the local animal shelters and animal rescue groups. They planned to success the program by providing greatly needed items for pet care that would keep the animals safe and comfortable and also enable to maintain other facilities operational.
It is informed that the campaign would run from the weekend of the Labor day weekend to the first week of the November. During the period, donated items should be provided to the shelters. Members of Fur to Furthers encourage their clients and the community to offer their assistance and donate several items that are proved handful for pet care.
They sought out a wide range of items that include pet food, towels, treats, beds, blankets, bleach, off-floor beds, toys, rugs and monetary donations and many more.
Gangi stated that it was a great opportunity for common people to offer their support to the animal shelters. He further informed that all the collected items would be distributed among the local shelters in Easton, Newtown, Monroe, and Trumbull.
Other than collecting the required items for the animals, the campaign would expect to raise awareness of their community animal shelters and the role served by them as well as the precious service offered by them. In the words of Cindy Socha of H3 Pet Supply, the campaign offer a great opportunity to all animal lovers in spite of the fact whether the person own a pet or not, to get involved with this campaign and create difference. It is significant to note that H3 is now located in Stratford.
In order to collect the donation during the campaign, the donation box will be placed in several sites of the local businesses. Gangi expressed that they would like to invite local businesses, vets, condo associations to get involved in the campaign by hosting a donation box. She also requested to donate in the green boxes with the NAPPS Presents 4 Pets logo on them that one can avail on several business sites.
