Last year for the holidays I received an eReader as a gift. My friend knew that I love to read, so she decided to buy one for me. Being one who loves to read and holding a paper book in my hands it did take a while to get used to it, but I tried.
After a couple of months of trying to get comfortable with this eReader, I came to the conclusion that I still enjoyed reading from a book. Why? Well the screen wasn’t bright or clear, it would fade sometimes, and the worst the screen would get stuck, it was not good at all. I finally decided to get it to my nephew so he can play with it. It was back to the books for me, so I thought.
One of my co-workers knew what happened and suggested that I try a Kobo. I told him that my last experience with an eReader did not work out too well, but he insisted that a Kobo is different because it caters to book lovers, people who love and enjoy reading. I don’t want to bore you with too much technical information which you can get from their website, but what I can tell you is that their screens are amazing, clear and vibrant. It’s like reading a newspaper or a book. You feel like you can touch the page, it is that clear.
After much research I decided on the Kobo Aura H2O model. The reason being this model is sand proof and water proof, how lucky am I? Since I love going to the beach and hanging out by the pool this model is perfect for me. I couldn’t protect my own books this way. I was able to find a Kobo best price sale that was going on, so I got a great price for this model. I can hardly wait to receive it.
An update, I have been using my Kobo for 2 weeks now and I am loving it. I read my books on my way to work, during lunch and in bed before I go to sleep. It was a great purchase for me. I would recommend a Kobo to anyone. Start by going online searching for Kobo discount codes which you can use to save yourself some money. Once you have that go and get yourself a Kobo and start reading!
