Nicotine also enhances the activity of intestine, it increasing the salivation process which increase both high heart rate and blood pressure and if taken in huge amount it cause nausea and vomiting.

How long does it stay?

During the tests, both qualitative and quantitative blood tests can be use in order to detect nicotine. In the tests nicotine level or absence can be determined. Though this depends on the number of years a person is smoking or taking tobacco. At the time of test both of its directives cotinine and anabasine can be used which traces out even small amount of nicotine in the body. Nicotine when taken it gets metabolized to cotinine and then it get mix with the blood. Liver starts the detoxification process and then it starts the removal of toxins from the body. This is a slow process when compared to removal of wastes from the kidney in the form of urine which is a far faster process.

In the blood samples, nicotine can be found for 3 days after the use of product containing nicotine. But this may vary body to body.
