ISESCO Director General to make working visit to the Republic Tunisia

The Director General of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), Dr Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri, will make a working visit to the Republic of Tunisia, on 20-24 March 2018, at the invitation of both the Minister of Cultural Affairs, and the President of the Tunisian National Authority for the Fight against Corruption (INLUCC).

During this visit, the Director General will take part in the official inauguration of the City of Culture, under the supervision and in presence of the President of the Republic of Tunisia, Mr Béji Caïd Essebsi. Dr Altwaijri will also take part in the Second International Forum on “the New Cultural Roles of Civil Society in Promoting and disseminating Good Governance Culture” that ISESCO and INLUCC will hold, in cooperation with the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) and the Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World (FUIW), under the high patronage of the President of the Republic of Tunisia, in Tunis, on 23-24 March 2018.ISESCOOn this occasion, ISESCO Director General will sign a cooperation agreement with the Tunisian Institute for Strategic Studies, and a cooperation programme with the Tunisian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for 2018-2019.

Dr Altwaijri will be also honored on 22 March 2018, on the occasion of Carthage Poetry Days.

The Director General will be accompanied during this visit by Mr Mohamed Ghemari, Director of the Secretariat of the Executive Council, General Conference and Specialized Ministerial Conferences, and Mr Najib Rhiati, Director of Culture.
